The finance team plays a crucial role in the business, supporting operations in making strategic decisions. We are looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join our growing finance team. This is a key role requiring the need to maintain accurate financial records, support daily accountancy processes and ensuring smooth financial operations across the business. We are looking for a person who can work independently while still being a team player. The hours of work will be 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday, although this can vary at times depending on the needs of the business. The role is office-based in Kinver.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate financial records
Support daily accountancy processes
Ensure smooth financial operations across the business
Input purchase invoices onto Sage 50 Accounts
Audit and maintain Petty Cash payments
Raise invoices for client related expenditure
Audit and maintain clients’ money sheets
Assist with utility invoicing for supported living client’s utility usage
Prepare monthly aged creditors run
Produce remittance advice notes for suppliers
Access Client accounts using online Bankline system daily
Daily reconciliation of the clients account
Process payments/management of client’s invoices/bills
Month end reconciliation of client accounts/produce balance sheet
Purchasing requirements for clients and liaising with relevant suppliers
Liaise with different homes to establish/prepare client personal money requirements
Monitor individual client bank accounts and update monthly ledger sheets
Liaise with Appointees/family members regarding personal allowance requests
