Job Description:

A leadership role in a dynamic and international environment in Tokyo for a prestigious global organization in the luxury goods sector.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals
oversee preparation and analysis of financial statements
guarantee compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
serve as a key point of contact for head office inquiries
manage month-end and year-end closing processes
continuously review and enhance accounting processes
design and implement system improvements
develop and monitor internal controls
ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or significant experience within a public accounting firm
minimum 5-10 years of experience
proven experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in a foreign company
in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
strong leadership and team management skills
excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
fluent in both English and Japanese
