Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior FIG Banker to execute the International Banking business strategy for Financial Institutions based in the European Union with the goal of deepening and developing client relationships to drive revenue growth, broadening product connectivity and enhancing profitability within the bank's risk framework.

Job Responsibility:

Execute International Banking business strategy for Financial Institutions in EU
Directly manage portfolio of EU clients
Source new business across Wells Fargo's product suite
Allocate capital to generate above hurdle relationship returns
Develop and execute strategy for Continental European Financial Institutions portfolio
Build long-term trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers
Provide risk management oversight of client portfolio
Protect Wells Fargo brand and manage reputational risk
Build relationships with product partners and functional partners

Requirements:

Experience in Corporate Banking Relationship Management
Management or leadership experience
Extensive client coverage and/or product experience with European Financial Institutions
Knowledge and transaction track record of executing financing and Markets transactions
Understanding of Transaction Banking products
Leadership skills with ability to develop and manage high-performing junior team members
Ability to work closely with senior leadership and internal partners
Track record of sound credit, compliance and reputational/franchise risk management
Experience executing complex credit transactions
In-depth knowledge of European Financial Institutions landscape, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape

Nice to have:

Existing relationships with European Financial Institutions in DACH, Nordics and/or Benelux regions
Relationships at Treasurer and C-Suite levels
