As a Senior Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic field marketing programs specifically tailored for our Australia and APJ (Asia Pacific and Japan) territory. You will play a critical role in driving pipeline generation, accelerating sales cycles, and increasing brand awareness within these key segments. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver measurable results. Job Responsibility
Developing and executing strategic field marketing programs specifically tailored for our Australia and APJ (Asia Pacific and Japan) territory
Driving pipeline generation, accelerating sales cycles, and increasing brand awareness within these key segments
Developing and implementing comprehensive field marketing strategies and programs for Australia and APJ territory, aligning with overall business objectives and sales priorities
Designing and executing integrated campaigns (e.g., webinars, regional events, digital advertising, account-based marketing) to generate high-quality leads and pipeline for Optimizely's DXP solutions, including CMP, CMS, Experimentation, Opal AI and Personalization
Acting as a strategic partner to sales teams in the APJ territory, providing them with localized content, sales tools, training, and competitive intelligence to support their revenue goals
Planning, managing, and executing regional events, trade shows, and industry sponsorships from concept to post-event analysis, ensuring strong ROI and lead capture
Localizing and adapting global marketing content to resonate with the specific needs and challenges of Australia/ APJ audience
Overseeing and managing field marketing budgets for assigned territories, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong ROI
Managing relationships with external vendors and agencies as needed
Continuously monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the effectiveness of field marketing programs, using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve future performance
Staying abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities within the Australian and APJ territory, sharing insights to inform marketing and product strategies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Master's degree a plus
5-7+ years of progressive experience in field marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, with a strong focus on Australian and APJ territory
Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive significant pipeline and revenue growth
Deep understanding of the marketing technology landscape, including DXP, content management, experimentation, personalization, and AI applications in marketing
Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
Proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot)
Ability to travel up to 25-30% for events, meetings, and sales engagements
College degree required with a preferred emphasis in marketing, communications, and/or general business
MBA a plus
