Job Description:

An esteemed law firm is looking for a Senior Family Solicitor (5+ years’ PQE) to join its dynamic Manchester office. With a strong focus on advocacy, complex divorce cases, and high-net-worth clients, this role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile matters and make a meaningful impact.

Job Responsibility:

Managing a caseload of complex divorce, financial settlements, and private children law matters, often involving high-net-worth individuals, business assets, and international aspects
Representing clients in contested financial and children’s proceedings, conducting advocacy in court
Providing strategic advice to high-profile and high-net-worth clients, ensuring discretion and a commercially focused approach
Collaborating with expert witnesses, forensic accountants, and barristers to build strong cases
Mentoring and supervising junior solicitors and paralegals, fostering talent within the team
Engaging in business development and networking, helping to maintain the firm’s reputation and high-calibre client base

Requirements:

5+ years’ PQE in family law, with substantial experience in high-value divorce and financial settlements
Strong advocacy skills, with a track record of representing clients in contested hearings
Proven ability to handle high-net-worth and complex cases with discretion and strategic acumen
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, combined with a commercially aware approach
A proactive mindset, with a focus on business development and cultivating client relationships
