We are seeking a Senior Family Law Associate to join our team, based in North Reading, Massachusetts. The role centers around handling various aspects of family law litigation in Probate and Family Court. As a Senior Family Law Associate, you will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks, from legal research and drafting to client relationship management and case administration.
Job Responsibility:
Handle family law litigation in Probate and Family Court, ensuring all cases are managed in a timely and efficient manner
Utilize exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and other legal professionals, maintaining strong client relationships
Conduct thorough legal research to support case proceedings and client consultations
Draft and file legal documents, following all relevant legal procedures and regulations
Utilize case management software and other tools like Adobe Acrobat and Conveyancer to maintain organized and accurate client records
Apply critical thinking and strong time management skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Handle complaint administration, ensuring all client concerns are addressed and resolved effectively
Utilize knowledge of civil litigation and claim administration in managing and resolving cases
Leverage skills in document management and briefing to prepare for and conduct trials
Maintain good standing with the Massachusetts Bar, adhering to all detail oriented and ethical standards
Requirements:
Must hold a detail oriented degree in law
Possess excellent knowledge of family law
Proficiency in using 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and Case Management Software
Experience with Document Management and Conveyancer systems
Ability to handle briefing, Civil Litigation, and Claim Administration tasks
Experience in Complaint Handling and in the Consumer Electronics sector
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of detail oriented ethics and integrity
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Proven background in effectively handling complex legal issues
