Job Description:

The primary role of Facilities Management function is to efficiently manage the operation of ResMed's facilities to minimize operational and life cycle costs. Key deliverables include providing safe, effective, efficient and responsive services to all areas of the business, covering facility and production services. Providing asset and maintenance management of electronic and software based technological systems required to manage and monitor buildings, plant and equipment or provide services to staff, visitors and contractors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on facility hard & technical services i.e. Mechanical and Electrical services
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance facility soft services
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations and monitoring of all facilities’ equipment to minimize downtime
  • Maintenance of building's facilities operations and provide technical input on gaps/improvement
  • Carry out troubleshooting/repair to electrical and mechanical system, general building works as well as handyman tasks
  • Coordinate, supervise and follow up closely with contractors on preventive maintenance and rectification
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedule of all facilities' equipment is adhered and completed
  • Conduct timely inspections of all facility & building equipment(s) and ensure its proper functionality
  • Ensure all facilities’ equipment that require license/permit are renewed timely
  • Monitor facilities’ equipment spare-parts & inventory for timely replenishment
  • Raise Purchase Request (PR) for contractor or vendor service/ goods
  • Being the 1st line of responder on Prompt response to emergency calls in respect to facilities breakdown
  • Work closely with various functions to meet quality, regulatory, safety, operation and maintenance requirements
  • Perform any other duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned
  • May require working in rotating shifts
  • Support multiple ResMed Manufacturing sites in Malaysia

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Engineering or Facilities Management
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in/with manufacturing environment, property or Building/Construction Management discipline
  • Excellent hands-on skills & experiences
  • Good technical knowledge of building operations, maintenance, and spares management
  • Proven technical experience including planning, supervising service providers/contractors and achieving set target
  • Strong technical expertise and problem-solving ability in facility industrial manufacturing towards Mechanical and Electrical systems plus building maintenance
  • Working knowledge of ISO13485, ISO14001 and ISO45001 preferred
  • GMP practices or cleanroom/controlled environment operation preferred
  • Holding Electrical Chargeman license min A0 recognized by Malaysia Energy Commissioning will be added advantages
