Job Description

SD Solutions is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineering Technician (Electrical) to support electrical infrastructure sustainment, modernization, and project execution activities supporting the 7th Civil Engineer Squadron at Dyess AFB. The individual will provide electrical engineering technical expertise supporting FSRM projects, engineering analyses, project tracking, and installation infrastructure improvements.

Job Responsibility

  • Support FSRM, UMMC, and MILCON project planning and execution
  • Perform electrical systems assessments, diagnostics, and evaluations
  • Support engineering studies, designs, and technical analyses
  • Develop engineering documentation, project records, and cost estimates
  • Support acquisition package development and project planning activities
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings and project briefings
  • Support project scheduling and budget activities
  • Maintain project tracking systems and engineering records
  • Conduct technical reviews of project deliverables
  • Support QA/QC activities and engineering validations
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and Air Force stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Air Force standards and building codes
  • Prepare technical reports and monthly project status reports

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Confidential clearance
  • Minimum 8 years of electrical systems experience
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical infrastructure systems
  • Experience with facility modernization projects
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Analyze system operations, diagnose problems/malfunctions, and take appropriate corrective action
