Job Description

The Senior Expert Treasury will work with the team to manage the company’s global cash and liquidity position, ensuring optimal utilization of funds and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role will also lead and manage initiatives to enhance treasury technology and streamline processes to drive efficiency and control.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee daily cash positions across multiple entities and currencies
  • Ensure the company meets its short-term obligations and operational needs efficiently
  • Implement centralized cash and liquidity management structures to minimize idle cash and borrowing costs
  • Collaborate in forecasting future cash flows
  • Lead process automation and digitalization initiatives
  • Manage TMS (Coupa) and bookkeeping interface to SAP
  • Support in treasury integration in S4H implementation
  • Drive bank connectivity integration
  • Prepare and present treasury reports and forecasts and provide input in strategic initiatives
  • Lead global and cross-functional projects to implement long-term treasury strategy and support business growth
  • Collaborate with business and other functions to support working capital optimisation
  • Ad-hoc support to the team on funding and capital structure, risk management, and trade finance topics

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of treasury experience, preferably with an in-house role in a multinational environment
  • Bachelor / Master degree in accounting, finance, or mathematics
  • English is mandatory (strong written and verbal communication skills required)
  • Strong expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, and treasury systems
  • Familiar with payment interfaces (EBICS, SWIFT, etc) and payment formats (MT and camt)
  • Hands-on experience with treasury management systems and ERP integration
  • Proven track record in process optimization and technology implementation
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Professional qualifications such as ACT, CTP, or CFA
  • Additional language (German or other)
