We are seeking a Strategic Finance and Accounting leader to join our Finance Capability Center (FCC) team within our Global Capability Center (GCC). In this pivotal role, you will act as a primary driver of our global finance transformation. Partnering closely with current Workday Global Process Owners (GPOs), you will spearhead the global Workday Financials implementation and oversee the seamless transition of complex F&A activities from our international markets into the GCC. As we deploy Workday as our global ERP, you will take a prominent leadership role within the GPO team across the Record-to-Report (R2R), Source-to-Pay (S2P), and Lead-to-Cash (L2C) workstreams. This position requires a hands-on Subject Matter Expert with deep functional F&A knowledge, including robust expertise in IFRS and understanding of global consolidations, who can effectively bridge the gap between regional markets and global strategy.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, drive and scale the transition of R2R, S2P and L2C tasks and processes related to the Workday financials implementation from our global markets into the GCC
Oversee the end-to-end record to report (R2R) function within the GCC as it relates to Workday, ensuring compliance with global standards, strict internal controls, and corporate policies
Direct complex IFRS corporate accounting activities and manage flawless financial submissions into Tagetik for global consolidation for the Workday implemented countries
Act as the Global Process Owner (GPO) from the GCC perspective for our Workday Financials implementation
Partner with local markets to drive understanding of those markets and ensure successful implementation of Workday and transition of associated tasks and processes to the GCC
Standardize, optimize, and document R2R, S2P and L2C processes to ensure maximum efficiency and alignment with the new Workday environment
Partner with global finance leaders, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure business requirements are met during the Workday rollout
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated aptitude for learning & buidling teams
Develop, execute and monitor progress against the project plans, goals and objectives
Generate innovative ideas, operate effectively in a fast-changing environment and embrace change
Follow a broad approach to problem solving and decision making by analyzing, thinking ahead and planning
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience leading a complex accounting or R2R function for a multinational or global organization
Experience or in depth knowledge of R2R, S2P and L2C functional areas
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is strongly preferred
Deep, practical expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Proven track record of leading accounting operations within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or Shared Services environment
Prior Experience of leading an ERP/Workday Implementation as a Finance & Accounting SME/Project Manager/Consultant for a Multinational or a Global organization
Hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management is ideal, preferably with active involvement in an implementation or major upgrade
Strong familiarity with global financial consolidation tools, specifically Tagetik or similar enterprise solutions
