Chaldon school is looking for high-level SEND practitioners. Role: Implementing tailored sensory activities and managing escalations with pure empathy. Collaborative Culture: Work alongside a multi-disciplinary intervention team in a state-of-the-art environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implementing and adapting learning activities to meet complex sensory and emotional needs
  • Using your experience to manage escalations with empathy, patience, and a positive, therapeutic approach
  • Helping students build the life skills and confidence they need to navigate the world beyond the classroom
  • Acting as a champion for the welfare and wellbeing of every young person in our care

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: A background in supporting children with SEND, specifically Autism and SEMH
  • Resilience: The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt your style to the energy of the room
  • Passion: A genuine desire to be part of a brand-new project and help build a school from the ground up
