We are seeking an individual to support end users with IT asset allocation while ensuring accurate verification and complete lifecycle management of IT assets. This role is part of the IT Asset Management (ITAM) team and focuses on maintaining high levels of compliance, inventory accuracy, and service efficiency for assets such as laptops, mobile devices, monitors, and network equipment located within office premises.
Job Responsibility
Maintain accurate inventory records for all IT assets, including tagging, tracking, and reconciliation
Manage allocation and de-allocation of IT assets for employees across locations
Monitor and authorise IT asset movement between offices and storage areas
Coordinate with vendors for delivery, pickup, courier logistics, and spare management
Handle service requests and incidents related to IT assets, ensuring timely resolution
Conduct regular physical verification, audits, and store inspections
Perform floor walks to identify unused, underutilised, or damaged assets
Oversee material inward and outward movement and store management
Maintain and update process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Support lifecycle management of assets from procurement through disposal
Contribute to governance activities, reporting, reconciliation, and audit closure
Requirements
Experience in IT Asset Management and lifecycle processes
Knowledgeable in inventory management, asset tracking, and reconciliation
Confident in coordinating with vendors, service partners, and internal stakeholders
Skilled in reporting, documentation, and audit compliance
Familiar with ITAM policies, standards, and governance requirements
Comfortable using the ITIL framework in day-to-day operations
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and macros
A clear and effective communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Educated to Bachelor's degree level in any discipline, with 2-4 years of relevant experience
