An established global financial services firm with a strong market presence in the insurance sector is expanding its finance function in Singapore. This specialized financial reporting position offers an excellent opportunity to manage statutory compliance and technical ledger closure workflows within a prominent insurance organization.

Job Responsibility

  • End-to-end preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant statutory requirements
  • Preparing and ensuring timely submission of MAS regulatory returns
  • Participating actively in the ongoing maintenance, reporting, and disclosure workflows under the IFRS 17 standard, collaborating closely with the actuarial and IT teams
  • Handle incoming financial inquiries and facilitate effective communications with auditors and external regulatory bodies
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline reporting workflows, enhance data automation, and strengthen internal controls

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of financial reporting experience within the insurance industry
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or a related discipline
  • Preferred professional certification such as CA or CPA
  • Hands-on exposure to MAS regulatory requirements
  • Solid, practical understanding of IFRS 17
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
