Job Description

UMass Amherst Foundation (UMAF) seeks a sophisticated, relationship-driven, and enterprise-minded leader to serve as its Senior Executive Director of Corporate Relations (SED). This leader will deepen and expand the university’s most important corporate partnerships, bringing the strategic fluency needed to operate confidently at senior levels across both industry and academia. Serving as an advisor to campus partners and an ambassador to industry, the SED will create pathways for high-value relationships to flourish across UMass Amherst’s interdisciplinary landscape. They will ensure that companies experience cohesive, high-touch, and strategic engagement with the university, while enabling internal stakeholders to align around shared goals and opportunities. This role represents a major investment in relationship-centered institutional advancement, and a rare opportunity for a leader who thrives at the intersection of philanthropy, research, innovation, and partnership development.
