Our client, a confidential higher education nonprofit institution, is seeking a Senior Executive Administrator to provide part‑time, temporary executive‑level support to senior finance and investment leadership. This onsite role is based in Waltham, MA and offers 17-20 hours per week within standard business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM), with flexibility on schedule as long as it remains consistent. The assignment is expected to last approximately three months and pays $35/hour.
Job Responsibility:
Provide high‑level administrative support to senior finance and investment executives
Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel, and executive correspondence
Prepare meeting materials, briefing documents, and presentations
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track action items
Support office operations, budget tracking, and basic financial reporting
Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
5-8+ years of progressive administrative experience supporting senior executives
Experience within finance, investment, operations, or higher education environments preferred
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Proven discretion handling confidential information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting
