Job Description:

Full-time Austin-based Senior Event Production Lead role at RED VELVET, a boutique full-service experiential activations and events agency. The role owns complex projects end-to-end, overseeing production schedules, logistics, budgets, and on-site execution, while representing client brands with care and intention.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead end-to-end production for events of varying scale, from planning through execution and post-event closeout
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams (accounts, creative, production, operations) and external partners
  • Provide guidance and support to production staff
  • Participate in creative development and align deliverables with strategy and client objectives
  • Own day-to-day project operations, including budgets, detailed timelines and workback schedules, vendor payments, run-of-shows, project playbook, and staffing plans
  • Manage vendors and contractors, including sourcing, negotiations, logistics, and deliverables
  • Lead client communications and status meetings
  • Proactively identify project risks, develop solutions, and oversee contingency planning
  • Oversee on-site execution, including contractors, brand ambassadors, and real-time problem-solving
  • Lead post-event reconciliation and collaborate with accounts for invoicing and retrospectives

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience producing a variety of conferences and large-scale events with many moving parts
  • Experience producing conferences and large-scale events
  • Experience with brand activations is a plus
  • Proficient with Google Workspace (specifically Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Meet, and Slides)
  • Familiarity with monday.com, Slack, Harvest, CVENT Event Diagramming, and SketchUp is a plus
