In this influential role, you’ll design and deliver a strategic program of national client receptions, thought leadership forums, multi-day conferences, retreats, and sponsorship activations. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll deliver experiences that reflect our commitment to quality, innovation and excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic portfolio of events that showcase our brand, strengthen client relationships, and drive business growth across the United States.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading the end-to-end planning and execution of events that attract high-calibre audiences across major US markets
  • Analysing and overseeing regional sponsorship activity, ensuring effective evaluation, negotiation, and measurement of ROO (short term) and ROI (long term)
  • Line managing junior team members, setting performance objectives, and ensuring that they are appraised, and developed to maximise their individual potential
  • Supporting key firm wide events, i.e. partner conferences and other national events
  • Leading on ad-hoc strategic projects as advised by the Associate Director - Global Events
  • Fostering collaboration across the global events team to ensure knowledge sharing and alignment of best practices
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance event delivery through technology, process optimisation, and creative engagement strategies

Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ event management experience within a professional services environment, managing complex, multi-regional market-facing events
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams globally
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management, vendor negotiation, and contract oversight to ensure value and compliance
  • Excellent project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Deep understanding of brand representation, client experience, and event risk management
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding teams or project groups across regions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence at senior levels
  • A proactive, solution-orientated mindset with a commitment to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
