In this influential role, you’ll design and deliver a strategic program of national client receptions, thought leadership forums, multi-day conferences, retreats, and sponsorship activations. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll deliver experiences that reflect our commitment to quality, innovation and excellence. Job Responsibility:
Leading the end-to-end planning and execution of events that attract high-calibre audiences across major US markets
Analysing and overseeing regional sponsorship activity, ensuring effective evaluation, negotiation, and measurement of ROO (short term) and ROI (long term)
Line managing junior team members, setting performance objectives, and ensuring that they are appraised, and developed to maximise their individual potential
Supporting key firm wide events, i.e. partner conferences and other national events
Leading on ad-hoc strategic projects as advised by the Associate Director - Global Events
Fostering collaboration across the global events team to ensure knowledge sharing and alignment of best practices
Identifying opportunities to enhance event delivery through technology, process optimisation, and creative engagement strategies
Requirements:
10+ years’ event management experience within a professional services environment, managing complex, multi-regional market-facing events
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams globally
Demonstrated experience in budget management, vendor negotiation, and contract oversight to ensure value and compliance
Excellent project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines
Deep understanding of brand representation, client experience, and event risk management
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding teams or project groups across regions
Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence at senior levels
A proactive, solution-orientated mindset with a commitment to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
