Senior estimator

• Execute full-cycle estimating services, including detailed quantity takeoffs, unit pricing, and conceptual cost modeling
• Oversee the solicitation, review, and leveling of subcontractor and material supply quotes
• Interface with engineers, architects, and owners to adjust estimates and recommend alternative materials or methods
• Identify potential project risks and develop strategic plans to manage impacts on budget and schedule
• Cultivate and maintain strong networks with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive market positioning
• Prepare and present final proposals for management approval, ensuring strict adherence to bid deadlines

• Degree or certificate in Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of dedicated experience as an estimator within the general construction sector
• Extensive experience coaching teams and supervising group work efforts is essential
• Skilled in Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and OST
• Prior experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator is considered highly beneficial
• Ability to visualize final products from schematic designs and identify cost-saving alternatives

Expert-level knowledge of InEight (or similar estimating software) is a distinct asset
