Reviewing architectural/engineering drawings, specifications and tender documents
Completing quantity take-offs and analysing labour, material, equipment and subcontractor costs
Sourcing, evaluating and negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotes
Maintaining up-to-date market rate and supplier databases
Identifying scope gaps, risks and constructability issues
Recommending value-engineering options to improve cost efficiency
Ensuring all estimates comply with relevant codes, standards and project requirements
Reviewing contractual conditions and tender documentation
Liaising with senior management on tender progress and workflow
