Significant experience working as an environmental consultant within regulated infrastructure environments
Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, policy, and assessment processes relevant to major projects
Ability to lead technical delivery and provide clear, pragmatic advice to project teams and clients

Job Responsibility

Assist in pricing exercises, including creating a pricing schedule, liaising with Procurement / Commercial Teams to obtain quotes and providing scope justification
Create monthly updated Environmental Statement (ES) programmes with the assistance of the project Senior Planner
Track, manage and report on subcontractor / consultant works onsite
Oversee monthly performance reporting against KPIs and targets, seeking to make continuous improvements in process and quality of data
Coordinate with project site team to produce 4-week look ahead and advise them on ES impacts of construction / Ground Investigation (GI) programme
Inform project team of ES priorities on site
Be available for site visits, walkovers, inspections, meetings, etc
Be the emergency point of contact and first responder on the scene in the case of environmental accidents, incidents and emergencies
Assist in incident investigations
Produce and update project documentation, including review the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and update Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP)
