Job Description:

Payrails is a global payment software company helping leading enterprises to take control of their payment operations and maximize performance. Our vision is to reimagine payments from the ground up. We are building a deeply integrated meta layer that spans the entire payment lifecycle with a modular architecture. This helps us give leading brands building blocks to craft solutions to most complex operational challenges, tailor seamless customer experiences and grow their business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close
  • Use your payments and enterprise network to generate qualified pipeline, open doors at target accounts, and gain access to senior decision-makers early in the process
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships by deeply understanding customer operating models, commercial constraints, and growth plans, positioning Payrails as core financial infrastructure, not a point solution
  • Identify and develop priority enterprise accounts, leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes and engaging C-level executives, particularly CFOs and finance leaders
  • Work closely with the founding team to shape the sales motion as we scale, refining messaging, processes, and go-to-market execution based on what works in the field
  • Act as the voice of the customer, turning real-world feedback into clear input for product and leadership teams to inform prioritisation and roadmap decisions

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience selling high-ACV software solutions to enterprise customers, with a proven track record of closing complex, long-cycle deals worth millions in annual revenue
  • Strong payments expertise is essential - you have worked in payments before and understand payment flows, stakeholders, and enterprise payment complexity at a deep, practical level
  • Demonstrated success selling to C-level executives, particularly CFOs and senior finance or operations leaders
  • A true builder and hunter mindset: you thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy wearing multiple hats, and take ownership of outcomes rather than waiting for perfect conditions
  • An exceptional communicator, able to explain complex and technical concepts clearly
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Willing to travel as needed to support customers, develop key relationships, and build new partnerships
What we offer:
  • High impact and high velocity environment with the most talented and ambitious people you will ever work with
  • A chance to shape the story of a company and a category from the ground up
  • Real ownership. You’ll have the freedom and trust to build, test, and take lead
  • A product used by the best brands around the world
  • Competitive salary
  • Premium Family Medical Insurance Coverage
  • 27 days of annual paid vacation
