Job Responsibility:
Own the full enterprise sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close
Use your payments and enterprise network to generate qualified pipeline, open doors at target accounts, and gain access to senior decision-makers early in the process
Build long-term, trusted relationships by deeply understanding customer operating models, commercial constraints, and growth plans, positioning Payrails as core financial infrastructure, not a point solution
Identify and develop priority enterprise accounts, leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes and engaging C-level executives, particularly CFOs and finance leaders
Work closely with the founding team to shape the sales motion as we scale, refining messaging, processes, and go-to-market execution based on what works in the field
Act as the voice of the customer, turning real-world feedback into clear input for product and leadership teams to inform prioritisation and roadmap decisions
Requirements:
6+ years of experience selling high-ACV software solutions to enterprise customers, with a proven track record of closing complex, long-cycle deals worth millions in annual revenue
Strong payments expertise is essential - you have worked in payments before and understand payment flows, stakeholders, and enterprise payment complexity at a deep, practical level
Demonstrated success selling to C-level executives, particularly CFOs and senior finance or operations leaders
A true builder and hunter mindset: you thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy wearing multiple hats, and take ownership of outcomes rather than waiting for perfect conditions
An exceptional communicator, able to explain complex and technical concepts clearly
Fluent in English and Dutch
Willing to travel as needed to support customers, develop key relationships, and build new partnerships
