Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Specialist in our Home Lending Servicing Risk line of business. The role involves oversight and strategic direction in addressing the organization's risks and managing the combined impact of those risks as an interrelated risk portfolio to achieve the company's objectives. The candidate will implement the companywide risk management framework and work closely with Home Lending to identify all material types of risk.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in crafting policies and strategies that mitigate all risks including credit, operational, reputational, and regulatory/legal risks
Partner with line of business, operational risk, compliance, and legal to ensure efficient, accurate, and well controlled execution of policies, strategies, and programs
Evaluate risk in programs executed by line of business partners
Understand regulations and investor guidance to ensure compliance
Make recommendations and challenge to improve programs and execution
Develop and help monitor controls to minimize risk
Identify and drive forward opportunities to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency
Identify and escalate issues timely
Participate in internal and external exams
Communicate to senior leaders and build strong partnerships across Risk Management, Servicing, Legal, Operational Risk, Compliance, and Accounting
Lead management and oversight of delegation of authority processes

Requirements:

4+ years of Risk Management experience (includes Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management) or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
Subject matter expertise in Home Lending Servicing processes, procedures, strategy and policy
Knowledge of Home Lending servicing systems, applicable tools, and automated decisioning tools
Aptitude to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Superior ability to identify, evaluate, aggregate, and challenge risks
Capability to work independently with minimal direction
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and think strategically across multiple portfolios/investors

Nice to have:

BS/BA degree or higher
Home lending experience with subject matter expertise in foreclosure, REO and/or bankruptcy
