As an Account Executive, you will help organisations evolve from traditional batch-and-blast email into intelligent, self-optimising campaign ecosystems. You’ll act as a strategic partner, guiding customers on how to leverage agentic email—where automation, AI decisioning, and real-time customer signals drive more meaningful engagement and measurable commercial impact. This is a consultative, high-impact role where curiosity, insight, and the ability to challenge thinking are as important as closing deals.
Job Responsibility:
Own and deliver New Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets across both new business and expansion opportunities within Optimizely Campaign, with a focus on agentic email solutions
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (CMOs, Heads of CRM, Digital & Growth leaders), helping them rethink customer engagement through AI-driven, agentic campaign strategies
Lead complex, consultative sales cycles—balancing high ASP, longer-cycle transformations (e.g. campaign replatforming, AI adoption) with faster expansion and upgrade opportunities
Translate customer challenges into agentic campaign use cases (e.g. automated lifecycle journeys, real-time personalisation, predictive optimisation)
Build and execute a strategic territory plan, generating pipeline through a mix of inbound demand and proactive outbound targeting of digital-first organisations
Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility, using data to identify risks, opportunities, and trends
Apply structured qualification and deal strategy to prioritise high-value opportunities and accelerate decision-making
Build multi-threaded relationships across Marketing, Product, Data, and Engineering teams—ensuring alignment on both technical and commercial value
Educate prospects on the evolution from traditional campaign management to agentic, AI-powered orchestration, positioning Optimizely Campaign as a strategic growth platform
Navigate complex buying processes, guiding stakeholders through evaluation, competitive positioning, and internal alignment
Operate with consistency and discipline, leveraging a structured sales methodology to drive predictable outcomes
Requirements:
Proven success in closing mid-market or enterprise SaaS deals, ideally within MarTech, CDP, CRM, or marketing automation
Experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder solutions with longer sales cycles
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of accounts and opportunities while maintaining quality and consistency
Strong track record of pipeline generation across both inbound and outbound channels
Understanding of modern marketing concepts such as personalisation, lifecycle marketing, automation, and AI-driven engagement
Ability to articulate the value of moving from manual campaign execution to autonomous, data-driven (“agentic”) marketing systems
Comfort engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's of Science or Business Administration preferred or equivalent work experience
