We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Consultant IT, as an individual contributor on client engagement teams, lead specific project initiatives, and act as a subject matter expert on consulting projects. Client engagement activities include but are not limited to framing issues, problem-structuring, optimizing client processes, developing go-to-market strategies, and change management. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned consultant with a proven track record in technology consulting, project management, and business processes within the finance and banking industries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and implement innovative solutions for Fintech, Banking, and Trading platforms, leveraging your technical expertise in Java, DevOps, and automation
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technology strategies and roadmaps
  • Transition seamlessly between technical and strategic roles, balancing hands-on engineering work with high-level strategic planning
  • Lead client negotiations, ensuring a harmonious balance between senior and junior stakeholders to achieve comprehensive outcomes
  • Develop compelling slides and presentations to communicate complex technical strategies to non-technical audiences
  • Manage infrastructure and DevOps pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency
  • Drive automation initiatives to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong background in Java development and software engineering
  • Experience with DevOps tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure management
  • Expertise in automation tools and frameworks
  • Proven track record in transitioning from a technical role to a strategic role in Fintech, Banking, or Trading
  • Experience in client-facing roles, including requirements gathering, solution design, and strategic planning
  • Strong skills in creating presentations and communicating complex ideas effectively
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Adaptability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
