A track record of delivering projects on time, in scope, and within quality goals in an Agile/Lean environment
Experience driving changes and establishing processes through company-wide initiatives
5+ years of software, infrastructure, privacy, or security engineering experience, preferably at a similar scale enterprise

Job Responsibility

Be a people manager for your engineers (~10-15 people)
Own the delivery of critical projects, multiple streams of work at once, mainly focusing on: Build Privacy Tools: Create systems to make privacy checks part of the product design process and SDL
Work with Experts: Collaborate with legal, data governance, and compliance teams
Achieve Certifications: Help Atlassian get recognized privacy certifications like ISO 27701
Closely collaborate with key stakeholders in the USA, Australia, and India to understand the key certification, legal, and privacy requirements while maintaining a deep understanding of our products and platform capabilities
Lead your team through incidents and high operational load, navigate ambiguity, and make trade-offs and hard decisions
Develop adequate processes and practices and work with leaders across the company to mature Atlassian’s privacy posture through high-quality data and scaling solutions
