As a key contributor to the Enterprise Agility team, you will be instrumental in simplifying agile software development at scale by bringing business and software development organizations together on one intuitive platform. Our flagship product in the enterprise agile planning market is Jira Align, and we are doubling down on our investment. In this role of an Engineering Manager, you will be leading one of the Jira Align teams responsible for creating and evolving some of our core delightful user experiences. You will work in close collaboration with core product teams that include a triad of engineering, design, and product management as well as individual contributors. As a remote-first company, you will be leading a distributed team. Additionally, as a Senior Engineering Manager, you will manage individuals reporting to you, coaching, mentoring, removing blocking issues, and supporting them in their professional development to help unlock their full potential and promote growth. Leveraging your engineering and SaaS knowledge, you will extend and modernize the existing Jira Align application in areas of quality, automation, and scalability. With your software engineering skills and experience, you will help design, build, and run solution integrations on the core Jira Align product.

Job Responsibility:

  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
  • A track record of execution, risk management, and delivering outcomes

Nice to have:

  • Fluency in the Microsoft tech stack/languages (.Net, C#, scripting languages, etc.) with the ability to perform code reviews & provide feedback
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
