Senior Engineer

• Project Leadership: Take overall responsibility for the successful completion of designated sections or full projects, leading by example and ensuring the day-to-day delivery of construction work
• Team Management: Manage a small team, ensuring all members are inducted and meeting role-specific requirements. Provide leadership, coaching, and training to motivate the team and enhance performance
• Subcontractor Management
• Program Management: Draw up and monitor 4 weeks program, ensuring project milestones are achieved
• Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate progress records such as As built, check sheet, etc. and deliver regular Toolbox Talks to keep the team aligned
• Budget & Cost Control: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently and within the specified contract budget
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm, implement safety policies, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting safety tours and supporting accident/incident investigations
• Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor attendance and progress, providing direct instruction and support to ensure contractual arrangements are met
• Sustainability & Values: Support and drive the delivery of sustainability initiatives, living the company's values

• Proven experience in site management, particularly within the construction industry
• ONC, HNC, or degree in civil engineering
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors effectively
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated commitment to achieving project objectives, focusing on safety, quality, and time
• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
