Job Responsibility:
Support the assigned customer with execution of weapon system manufacturing and production engineering requirements to meet contract deliverables timely per contract schedule
Provide support in the development and execution of engineering Product Data Management (PDM) efforts for the weapon system to include planning and executing for the review, storage, access to, use of and Configuration Control (CC) of program
engineering
and test and product manufacturing support data in enterprise PDM (ePDM)
Conduct enterprise data synchronizations with Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A) and Logistics Management Program (LMP)
Provide engineering support to the customer in the development, and execution of various cost estimation and analysis efforts throughout the weapon systems’ life cycle phases (e.g., Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) and associated budget submissions, Cost Benefit Analyses (CBAs), Business Case Analyses (BCAs), ‘Should Cost’ studies, Life-Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Operations and Support (O&S) Cost estimates, Program Office Estimates (POEs), etc.).
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in weapon system engineering
Strong ability to manage engineering data, configuration control, and product data management processes
Experience supporting cost analysis and analysis efforts throughout the weapon systems’ life cycle phases.
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field
