Job Responsibility
Build solutions that support clinician, patient, and caregiver workflows while meeting safety, usability, and accessibility requirements
Translate user requirements, clinical insights, and risk mitigations into elegant and effective UI solutions
Ensure build consistency through patterns, style guides, and collaboration with design system owners
Partner with Human Factors Engineering to integrate IEC 62366 and FDA usability requirements into the UI/UX workflow
Support formative studies, heuristic evaluations, use-error analyses, and simulated-use testing
Analyze study results and recommend build changes to improve safety, workflow alignment, and user happiness
Contribute to user interface–related risk analysis (e.g., UFMEA, task analysis, use-related hazard identification)
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in UX/HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science or related field
3+ years UI/UX experience, regulated industry preferred
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure
Experience with embedded/touchscreen interfaces or connected device ecosystems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
