As an Engineer at Nosto, you’ll be solving one of the biggest challenges brands and retailers face today: How to offer customers relevant and authentic shopping experiences that drive results. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll join our Product & Engineering organization in shaping Nosto into the leading global platform for commerce experience. Reporting to the Head of Search Engineering, you’ll work within the team that owns our Search and Category Merchandising product. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You’ll drive key architectural decisions, champion improvements, and mentor other engineers. Your work spans the full stack—from infrastructure and backend systems to front-end components—and includes contributing to new AI-powered initiatives such as semantic and conversational search. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams (SRE, Data & AI team, and Core Front End) along with our product managers and designers, and also have touch points with our customer success and technical solution managers. You’ll also have meaningful freedom to propose technologies and practices, backed by sound reasoning and real customer value. Our approach is pragmatic, iterative, and grounded in solving actual merchant and shopper challenges.
