Job Description

In this position you will join our Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects - from rural access roads to complex freeways, toll roads, system interchanges and water security. You'll be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team working on some of Australia's most significant transport infrastructure projects, reimagining how roads can shape a more sustainable and connected world.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and produce detailed road and civil design models to produce drawings using geometric design packages such as OpenRoads Designer or 12d
  • Interpret design standards and translate engineering input into 3D models and provide outputs for plan production
  • Collaborate with engineers and drafters to ensure accuracy, constructability, and integration of design elements
  • Assist with digital design processes and participate in design reviews
  • Apply quality assurance and Aurecon design protocols throughout the project lifecycle
  • Apply Austroads guidelines and TfNSW Supplements to Austroads, to produce accurate and detailed road designs that will range from concept designs all the way through to construction stages

Requirements

  • Advance knowledge or Expert in 12d or OpenRoads
  • 3+ years of industry experience as a Road designer, using 12d or Openroads
  • Road Design, Highway Design, Interchange Design, Intersection Design
