As manufacturing quality is responsible for determining production standards for a company’s products by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules.
Job Responsibility:
Determine production standards for a company’s products by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules
Develop and implement any required quality control policies, procedures, specifications, forms, checklists, reports, etc., for services, incoming material, and factory assembly, testing and shipping
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to develop and implement controls and improvements
Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team
Provide technical and regulatory expertise for a range of quality assurance testing and inspection activities associated with product development and manufacturing
Monitor, analyze and report quality relate key performance indicators
Perform internal audits of the operation process using inspection results and statistical techniques to provide timely, accurate process and product analysis and determines proper corrective and preventive action
Lead on Quality incident 8D
Investigate quality problems by reviewing quality trends, tracking the root cause(s) of the problem(s), coordinating corrective actions and implanting appropriate adjustments
Resolve inquires to satisfaction in a professional, timely manner, responding verbally and/or in writing
Implement preventive actions to reduce and/or prevent quality problems
Requirements:
Degree in Quality, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical engineering
Minimum 3 years working experience in Quality Assurance
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
Strong knowledge of relevant quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes
ISO 9001 and statistical methods and techniques
Nice to have:
Certification as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Six Sigma is preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
