Job Description:

As manufacturing quality is responsible for determining production standards for a company’s products by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules.

Job Responsibility:

  • Determine production standards for a company’s products by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules
  • Develop and implement any required quality control policies, procedures, specifications, forms, checklists, reports, etc., for services, incoming material, and factory assembly, testing and shipping
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to develop and implement controls and improvements
  • Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team
  • Provide technical and regulatory expertise for a range of quality assurance testing and inspection activities associated with product development and manufacturing
  • Monitor, analyze and report quality relate key performance indicators
  • Perform internal audits of the operation process using inspection results and statistical techniques to provide timely, accurate process and product analysis and determines proper corrective and preventive action
  • Lead on Quality incident 8D
  • Investigate quality problems by reviewing quality trends, tracking the root cause(s) of the problem(s), coordinating corrective actions and implanting appropriate adjustments
  • Resolve inquires to satisfaction in a professional, timely manner, responding verbally and/or in writing
  • Implement preventive actions to reduce and/or prevent quality problems

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quality, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in Quality Assurance
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
  • Strong knowledge of relevant quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes
  • ISO 9001 and statistical methods and techniques

Nice to have:

  • Certification as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Six Sigma is preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
