As part of interdisciplinary project teams, you will work on complex greenfield and brownfield projects in the pharmaceutical and life sciences environment. These projects include process equipment, buildings, as well as utility and infrastructure systems. You will take full responsibility for the electrical engineering discipline - from concept development through to successful implementation.
Job Responsibility
Defining, clarifying, and documenting technical project requirements in electrical engineering (medium and low voltage), in compliance with national and international standards as well as GMP requirements
Planning and designing electrical systems, including cabling for automation and process control systems
Developing planning documentation, bills of quantities, and technical tender documents
Evaluating technical bids and providing well-founded award recommendations
Acting as site supervisor for electrical engineering, including on-site assignments to monitor quality, schedule, cost, and scope
Supporting project management in scheduling, reporting, as well as contract and change management within the electrical discipline
Coordinating interfaces with production, utilities, infrastructure, and auxiliary systems, as well as internal and external stakeholders (clients, planners, suppliers)
Requirements
Degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering (e.g. Advanced Federal Diploma HF, BSc/MSc Electrical Engineering, certified electrical project manager, or similar)
Several years of experience in electrical engineering of medium and low voltage systems, ideally in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or life sciences industry
Knowledge of GMP environments and experience with qualification and documentation is an advantage
Experience in the following areas is considered a plus: Preparation of electrical schematics and equipment layouts
Electrical site supervision
Design and assessment of electrical systems, including hazardous (Ex) areas
Proficiency in CAE/CAD tools such as COMOS, EPLAN, or similar systems
Strong team player with a clear focus on customer satisfaction and high-quality project delivery
Excellent communication skills in German and English
Willingness to travel on a project basis (up to a radius of approx. 500 km)
Nice to have
