6+ years’ civil engineering experience in the mining/mineral processing or resource sector
Strong technical knowledge of Civil Engineering Design including earthworks, roads, drainage, hardstands, and site infrastructure
Demonstrated experience delivering Civil Engineering packages through feasibility, detailed design and construction support phases
Thorough understanding and practical application of relevant Australian Standards, Industry Codes, and Engineering best practices

Job Responsibility

Deliver civil engineering design solutions for mining, mineral processing and resource sector projects
Ensure compliance of design products with the Design Procedure
Produce and ensure design products comply with applicable legislation, standards, client, third party and project requirements
Take ownership of technical compliance and quality of civil engineering deliverables
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams to achieve integrated project outcomes
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers
Engage with clients, vendors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support project execution
Ensure design products are delivered in accordance with the project budget and schedule
Ensure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects including, cost, constructability, operability and maintainability
