Job Description

SD Solutions is seeking a Senior Engineer/Architect to support the 7th Civil Engineer Squadron Engineering Flight at Dyess AFB. The position provides engineering, architectural, and project management support for FSRM, UMMC, and MILCON projects supporting installation readiness. The individual will support projects from planning through closeout while serving as a technical advisor to Air Force leadership and project stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead engineering and architectural support activities for facilities projects
  • Develop engineering designs, specifications, studies, and drawings
  • Prepare DD Form 1391s, SOOs, SOWs, PWSs, and acquisition packages
  • Develop project cost estimates and budgeting documentation
  • Coordinate with USACE, MAJCOM, contractors, and Government organizations
  • Participate in planning, programming, and execution forums
  • Support technical interchange meetings and leadership briefings
  • Conduct technical reviews and recommend acceptance or rejection of deliverables
  • Support project tracking, documentation, and reporting activities
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and executive correspondence
  • Support QA/QC reviews and design validation
  • Ensure compliance with Air Force standards and regulations
  • Support project closeout activities

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Confidential clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • 10+ years of relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements
  • AutoCAD proficiency
  • Cost estimating experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
