Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Employment Law Attorney to join a dynamic law firm based in San Jose, California. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with extensive expertise in advising employers on a wide range of employment law matters and successfully representing clients in litigation. The position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, build strong client relationships, and contribute actively to the firm's growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide strategic legal counsel and representation in complex employment law matters
  • Defend clients against claims related to employment law, including Title VII, wage and hour disputes, and class action lawsuits
  • Represent clients in trade secret and unfair competition cases, ensuring thorough preparation and advocacy
  • Advocate for clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and administrative hearings before agencies such as the EEOC
  • Develop tailored employment policies and strategies to help clients navigate legal challenges
  • Deliver engaging and informative trainings and seminars on employment law topics for clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to establish trust and long-term partnerships
  • Mentor and supervise entry-level associates to enhance their growth and expertise
  • Drive business development efforts to expand the firm’s employment law practice
  • Conduct thorough research and draft motions, briefs, and discovery documents to support case strategies

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the State Bar of California
  • At least 8 years of experience in employment law litigation and counseling
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex employment law cases with confidence and attention to detail
  • Strong skills in legal research, writing, negotiation, and client consultation
  • Proven experience representing clients in court, arbitration, and before administrative bodies
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and maintaining a strong sense of integrity
