We are currently working with a leading global professional services organisation that is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Employment Counsel on a contract of 9-12 months in duration. The assignment is due to start in August/September 2026 and will operate on a hybrid basis, with 1-2 days per week required in the London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior employment lawyer to join a highly regarded in-house legal team, providing commercially focused employment law support across a large and complex business. The successful individual will advise on a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, whilst managing their own caseload and partnering with senior stakeholders across HR, Risk and the wider business. The role will involve providing day-to-day advice on a wide range of employment law issues, supporting key strategic projects and initiatives, managing employment-related risk, and advising on both internal HR matters and external claims. Matters are likely to include restructures, business change projects, TUPE, employee relations issues, disciplinary and grievance matters, whistleblowing, restrictive covenants, compensation and benefits, equality and diversity initiatives, terminations, Employment Tribunal claims and ACAS matters. The successful lawyer will be joining a collaborative and experienced team and will be expected to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, delivering pragmatic and commercially focused advice in a fast-paced environment.
