Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Engineer to play a key role in the development of advanced wireless communication systems. This is a hands-on role combining embedded software development and FPGA design, ideal for someone who enjoys working across both domains rather than specialising in just one.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop embedded C software for real-time systems
  • Contribute to FPGA development (VHDL, ideally Xilinx)
  • Work across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production
  • Contribute to new waveform and algorithm development
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, RF, and system teams

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in embedded C development
  • Experience with FPGA development (VHDL or similar)
  • Comfortable working in a Linux or embedded Linux environment
  • Strong understanding of electronics and working with test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes)
  • Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or Physics

Nice to have:

  • Experience with C++
  • Exposure to SDR, RF systems, or DSP
  • Background in defence, telecommunications, broadcast, or similar industries
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGAs
  • Experience in mentoring & team/project leadership
