Wireless communication is becoming ever more important to enable hearing impaired to participate in society on equal terms. From using your hearing aids as a wireless headset, to connecting to a teacher’s microphone in the classroom, or simply getting a proper audio signal from your TV at home. We are looking for a colleague to join our development team located near Copenhagen to ensure we have the most versatile and stable Bluetooth solution.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain the BLE stack, focusing on the controller and host layers
Implement unit tests and other automated tests in the development pipeline
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BLE features into hearing instruments
Debug and resolve issues related to BLE connectivity and functionality
Optimize code for performance, reliability, and power efficiency
Collaborate with third parties on interfaces to third party components and devices
Stay updated with the latest BLE standards and technologies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Extensive experience in C programming, particularly in embedded systems
Experience with microcontroller programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
Solid understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols and standards
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
