Senior Eligibility Consultant

The Senior Eligibility Consultant is responsible for this department’s most complex and highest valued clients, also working and resolving complex issues. This person will translate direction and intent into actionable items while operating with minimal supervision, while maintaining a consultative nature when working with other departments, clients, and brokers. The Senior Eligibility Consultant will coach and mentor junior staff, develop and execute training plans, coordinate and set daily objectives, identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies, serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert), and function as the highest level of escalation prior to manager and/or director involvement. This person also has a major role in the eligibility file process, which may include troubleshooting, error reports, and user acceptance testing.
