Our customer is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Operations Engineer to support critical infrastructure across a large research campus. This role focuses on electrical power distribution, system upgrades, and infrastructure modernization within the Energy & Utilities division.
Job Responsibility
Support electrical power distribution systems ranging from 608V to 69kV
Lead and support utility system upgrades and infrastructure modernization
Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and system evaluations
Modify and improve existing electrical systems
Support electrical design for facility and infrastructure improvements
Conduct and review power system studies and arc flash analysis
Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
9+ years of experience in electrical power / utilities engineering
Experience with power distribution systems and infrastructure projects
Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar electrical design tools
Strong understanding of power system analysis and engineering calculations
U.S. Citizenship required
Must have experience with: Power distribution systems
