A Job Position for an experienced ELECTRICAL HARNESS DESIGN ENGINEER is open for Electrical System Installation Design Department (Spanish perimeter) for Eurodrone, FCAS, Eurofighter, A400M, UAS and Legacy Combat A/C. The Position will be integrated in the multidisciplinary team of Electrical System Installation Design.
Job Responsibility:
Developing designs and managing related technical activities
Provide the required deliverables during the different Program phases
In early phases: conceptual design activities, Space Allocation Mock Up (SAM), generation of Systems/Wirings Layouts and Electromechanical Interfaces, requirements management, generation of Design Principles
In Definition phase: mature designs, starting with Wiring interconnection Diagrams, and ending with Electrical harnesses, Supports/Bracketry and Electromechanical Installations detailed design and definition dossier generation for Manufacturing and Assembly
In subsequent phases: provide Engineering support during the Production/Assembly and In Service Phases, and provide approval of concessions, repairs and modifications to Design
Requirements:
Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related/alternative discipline
At least 3-5 years of experience in Engineering, in a Design/Airframe Department
Knowledge in Electrical and/ or Electromechanical design, including CATIA V5 knowledge (desirable CATIA V6/3DX)
Experience for details check previous to release the documentation to manufacturing
High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode
Advanced level in English and Spanish
German or French would be an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to propose new ideas
Nice to have:
German or French would be an asset
Some background on Electrical Diagrams Tools (See-XP, Capital Logic etc.) is welcommed
