Job Description:

As an Electrical Construction Manager at Metlen you will be a fundamental part of the construction team. You will be responsible for working collaboratively to assist in delivering the project on time, safely and in line with the project plan. Responsibilities include: managing subcontractors, liaising with project managers, resolving technical issues, ensuring compliance with legislation, and managing site resources.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, health & safety, and quality standards
  • Liaise with project and construction managers to align site progress with programme milestones
  • Interface closely with project management and client representatives to resolve technical and any scheduling issues
  • Ensure all works are fully compliant with current legislation, specifications and security protocols
  • Manage resources on site to ensure efficiency, plan labour and material resources ahead of time, and manage subcontractor labour hours

Requirements:

  • University or Technical Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on CCGT projects
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent use of English Language
