Job Description:

Contribute your expertise, skills, and experience as an Senior Electrical Engineer by joining our KDM Engineering team. KDM is a growing, award-winning, minority- and woman-owned professional engineering firm focusing on electric, gas, site civil, and telecommunications engineering designs and support services. Sr. Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience (ComEd preferred). Will need to coordinate and complete complex distribution designs and will give a complete QA/QC check on other designer's projects.

Job Responsibility:

Leads projects and project team in the execution of several mid-to-large scale projects
Communicates and coordinates project activities with internal team members
Perform Quality Assurance (QA) design reviews and Peer Reviews for all project documents
Performs peer reviews and mentors project team members
Assists in the preparation of scoping documents and fees
Prepares and reviews project drawings in TED
Resolves design questions and technical concerns
Provides excellent client/customer service

Requirements:

BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology Preferred
P.E. Preferred
10 years minimum of experience with Distribution Design, ComEd experience preferred
Knowledge of industry codes and standards
Ability to interface effectively with clients, employees, and management team is essential
Motivated to continually take on more responsibility and lead the team
Must be willing to comply with all pre-employment screening
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Possess a valid Driver's License
