You will be joining the Design and Engineering Services team, supporting a wide range of building and industrial projects across Canada. This role involves providing technical expertise throughout all phases of a project—from early design to completion.
Job Responsibility:
Review electrical drawings and specifications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with codes and standards
Collaborate closely with design teams, trade partners, and construction teams to support project delivery
Recommend alternative design strategies and cost-saving solutions for electrical systems
Participate in all stages of projects, including pursuit, design, construction, and close-out
Support coordination of design information between engineering and construction teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Canada (APEGA or EGBC preferred)
Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical building systems design
Experience working on large, complex projects ($200M+
$500M+ preferred)
Familiarity with collaborative delivery models such as Progressive Design-Build, Construction Management, or Integrated Project Delivery
Proficiency with software such as Procore, BIM, Revit, Revisto, and Navisworks
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Willingness to travel as required
Nice to have:
LEED certification or experience with Net-Zero building design is an asset
Construction administration experience considered an advantage
