More than 10 years of experience
Technical business aircraft interiors experience
Experience dealing with Supplier base
Experience in design or integration of complex electrical systems
Experience working with electrical schematics, test environment and debugging electrical systems
Experience with AutoCad or any relevant electrical conceptual software
Must be self-motivated, a team player, able to work with a minimum of supervision and have good skills in project management
Good communication skills in French and English

Job Responsibility

Review, analyze and understand customer specification documents
Define and design the configuration of cabin systems
Produce and validate electrical system definition documentation such as the electrical diagram
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Define and perform system functional and robustness tests on the test bench to test interfaces between systems and ensure the highest level of product quality under all conditions
Ensure and document compliance with aircraft certification rules (FAR, RAC, EU-OPS 1)
Support aircraft production to diagnose anomalies and resolve them quickly
Keep an open and innovative mindset to implement improvements in a continuous improvement spirit

Requirements

University degree in aircraft avionics or electrical engineering or equivalent work experience in wiring integration
Minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in aerospace
Wiring design, wiring installation and/or wiring troubleshooting and electrical system integration knowledge
Strong sense of responsibility and good organization skills
Excellent communication skills including the ability to read/write in English
Good experience with CATIA V5 and CATIA V4 (CATWIRE module)
Experience with Capital (Mentor Graphics), PLM databases CDMA and Teamcenter an asset
Comfortable working with MS office suite

Job Responsibility

Review and approve Supplier technical engineering deliverables (ESSD/PCD) in part or in whole
Engage with electrical System stakeholders and manage workload scheduling
Provide technical engineering support on change management implementation (RFC, PCR)
Creation of wiring diagrams from System Definition Schematics (ESSD), preparation of Harness Reports with Harness Bill of Material (BOM) to meet customer configuration
Establish/improve measures to ensure/improve quality of engineering documents
Prepare work statements and reports (EDRN)
Checking of work prior to release and ensure compliance to various systems requirement
Select various components, connectors, backshells and other parts, involving researching parts catalogues, engineering specifications and contact with vendors if required
Be able to identify and manage engineering technical risks independently
Communicate lessons learned to other community members

7+ years of industry embedded electronics design experience with a major focus on designing high-speed, high-density, portable, battery-powered devices, robotics, or low-power vehicular embedded circuits
Creative and passionate about innovative design and cutting-edge technology
Demonstrated ownership of embedded electronics design across multiple subsystems
Skilled in high-speed, high-density hardware design, including system architecture development, component selection, schematic design, PCB layout management, design verification testing and debug
Proficient leading electronics design and development from concept to mass production
Experience with technical oversight of design partners, ODMs, and JDMs leading to successful electronics design
Strong proficiency with point of load power supply design (Switch mode, linear regulators), PMIC integration, power tree development, and power consumption analysis
