Our client specializes in turnkey EPCC projects for the oil & gas, power generation, and process industries, with a strong emphasis on natural gas applications, as well as transmission and distribution networks.
Job Responsibility:
Develop detailed electrical designs for LV and MV systems (e.g., 110/115V, 220/230V, 400/440V, 6.6kV)
Perform cable sizing, single-line diagram (SLD) generation, load calculations, and protection system design
Conduct short circuit and grounding studies, design cable layouts, schematic diagrams, and lighting protection systems
Engineer and optimize electrical equipment packages, including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, and power distribution systems
Execute technical bid evaluations, system studies, and vendor clarifications
Enhance internal engineering workflows with minimal supervision
Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and vendors to meet project timelines and deliverables
Support site activities, including factory acceptance testing, fabrication site inspections, and commissioning
Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation and uphold compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI, IEEE, ISA, API, NEMA, CSA, UL)
Report to the Local Engineering Manager and Project Manager
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field
Minimum 5 years in detailed electrical engineering, preferably with exposure to EPCC project execution
Strong knowledge of international electrical standards, codes, and best practices
Ability to ensure compliance with local electrical design regulations
Familiarity with engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP)
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders
Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required
