To assist with DOS, to ensure all teachers are planning and delivering high-quality lessons to the expected standard i.e. lessons that motivate the class and have variety, pace and are challenging.

Requirements:

  • Supervise EFL Teachers during preparation time
  • Ensure detailed lesson plans are produced following BSS syllabus
  • Submit three best lesson plans of the week for review
  • Prepare and deliver outstanding, inclusive, stimulating lessons fully in English
  • Model enthusiasm, maintain excellent discipline, foster supportive classroom atmosphere
  • Supervise weekly Placement Tests for new students
  • Support Director of Studies in maintaining academic documentation
  • Deputise for the Director of Studies in their absence
  • Oversee student behaviour around campus
  • Assist welfare team with wake-up duties if needed
  • Review and follow risk assessments and safety procedures
  • Undertake student transfers courteously and efficiently
  • Capture high-quality footage of lessons using school recording devices
  • Help set up and pack away the centre as required
  • Undergo enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Undergo full employment reference checks prior to employment
