Job Description:

Seeking a Senior Educator to mentor fellow Educators, build genuine relationships with families and school staff, and uphold high standards of care and compliance in a service that backs you every step of the way.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support daily operations
  • Lead the team in the Service Coordinator's absence
  • Deliver engaging, play-based programs
  • Mentor fellow Educators

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or equivalent
  • Sound working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
  • Minimum one year experience working in a children's service
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating or leading a team
  • Ability to plan, implement, and review high quality programs
  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Completion of approved Child Protection Training
  • Current driver's licence
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and QikKids
  • Willingness to work split shifts as required
