As the Senior Educator (2IC) at our Porters Creek service, you will work alongside the Service Coordinator to support daily operations, lead the team in their absence, and deliver engaging, play-based programs that make a real difference. You will mentor fellow Educators, build genuine relationships with families and school staff, and uphold high standards of care and compliance in a service that backs you every step of the way. This role suits someone with emerging leadership qualities, a passion for working with children, and the energy and enthusiasm to contribute to a close-knit, inclusive team culture. Our Porters Creek service is licensed for 97 children and operates from a dedicated space within Porters Creek Public School. This is a full-time role with a mix of split shifts and block shifts.
Job Responsibility:
Support daily operations

Requirements:
Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or equivalent
Sound working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
Minimum one year experience working in a children’s service
Demonstrated experience coordinating or leading a team
Ability to plan, implement, and review high quality programs
First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
Knowledge of workplace health and safety
Current Working with Children Check
Completion of approved Child Protection Training
Current driver’s licence
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Well developed written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and QikKids
Willingness to work split shifts as required
